Celebrate the 225th Anniversary of the United States Coast Guard at the Annual Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival, July 24 through August 2.  Since 1924, Grand Haven has hosted special events annually for the Coast Guard, the longest continuous seagoing service in the nation, in deep appreciation for the men and women who serve, have served, and who have sacrificed their lives in service to their country.

The festival includes carnival rides and midway games, softball and golf tournaments, live entertainment, special days for kids and seniors, a street dance, a quilt show, car show, craft fair, ship tours, a moving National Coast Guard Memorial Service, and so much more.

On August 1st, The Meijer Grand Parade will take place. The parade starts at 11:45 and features marching bands, clowns, military units, local sports teams, dignitaries and many other groups.  Click Here get a map of the parade route.

Also on August 1st, at dark, the Waterfront Stadium’s Fireworks Extravaganza is scheduled.   Bring your oooohhs and aaaahhhs.  Each year it’s a dazzling display of pyrotechnics!
