Recreation Passport
The Recreation Passport is required for all Michigan state parks, trails, historic sites, boat launches, harbors, and more. Visit Michigan.gov/RecreationPassport for more details and to purchase.
Hours
The park is open from 8am to 10pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day and 8am til dusk the rest of the year. Overnight facilities are not available.
Park Activities and Amenities
The park is an excellent destination for summer and winter water activities. The sandy beach and one-mile shoreline on Cass Lake make it a great retreat for swimming, boating, fishing, and cross-country skiing
Alcoholic Beverages and Marijuana Use
You may not possess or consume an alcoholic beverage at any time in the park without written authorization of the park manager. Despite the change in law, the use of marijuana in public is still not legal or allowed.
Fireworks Are Not Permitted
Pets
Pets must be kept on a 6-foot leash and must never be left unattended. Please clean up after your animals. No animals on the beach.
